Powerbuilding 3 Exercise Clarification

4 reps @ RPE 7, keep weight the same and do another 12 reps. Adjust reps per set to maintain RPE 7 for each set.

For the 12 reps following the first set, are they meant to be done in a single 12rep block, or broken up into multiple sets totaling 12 reps with breaks between?

I’m in week 10 and I’ve been doing Multiple sets. Usually 3-4 reps per set to maintain about RPE 7.

I think the main idea is to get the volume in every week without causing failure during a set.
