Powerbuilding 3 rep scheme

Hello guys!

Might just be me but i find the rep scheme kinda weird.

I do 5 reps for the first set, and then keep all the other sets at RPE 7. I should be able to do 2 more sets of 5@7 making the total of reps to 10 by now.

Then I have 2 reps to go, that would be about RPE 0.

Is this how i should do it?

Or should I lower the reps to 4s to better distribute it across sets as long as I don’t overshoot the RPE?

Yep, that would be right. You also have the freedom to do smaller sets (e.g. 3 or 4 reps) to make sure RPE doesn’t climb above 7 while keeping the weight the same.
