Rib pain after belted deadlifts

Good morning,
After deadlifting this morning (not heavy) with my belt on I have pretty significant L sided lower rib pain with deep breathing and any compression to the area. I have only been using my belt for a few months, but not had any similar symptoms.
Would you recommend training without a belt in this situation? Then test the waters in a few days….

I would just experiment with positioning and tightness of your belt. If you need to take a short break to let the area calm down first, that’s fine too.
