template modifications for higher volume

Hi BBM team,

I have run a few of your templates now and really enjoy them. I have a question that stems both from personal interest but also intellectual curiosity about programming strategy generally. I find that I tend to me in the group that responds better / needs / can tolerate higher volumes (?more training resistant?). When you have clients like this, where is the first place you usually add volume (referring here to number of sets) compared to your standard 3 day templates? Just adding more back off sets to the same exercises? adding a 4th exercise on each lifting day? A 4th lifting day? Obviously a lot will depend on what the client can do/wants and what has worked well previously, but if we assume a blank slate and they are game for anything, what would you usually try first?

It all depends on the context.

That said, usually adding more sets is the move, which typically manifests as a 4th day first.
