Training "cycle"

Hello everyone!

I´m about to finish 12 week strength template and I want to go for the 7 week hypertrophy block.

My question is: for a healthy young male, does it make sense to cycle these two programs until a major modification is needed or, I think, until it doesn´t work anymore for me?

Let’s say you cycle these programs several times. Assuming gains slow/stop, what would be the next step? Template tweaks? Another template (HLM, Bridge 2.0)? Coaching?
