I just signed up for my first powerlifting meet and have 16 weeks to prepare. I plan on running 12 week strength to prepare. My question is what should I do for the next 4 weeks before starting 12 week? I just ran The Bridge with good results. Should I rerun the first 4 weeks of the bridge or repeat the first 4 of the 12 week strength?
If you’re interested, I’d actually recommend running the first four weeks of the GPP Hypertrophy program. It has three weeks of medium/high stress to start, then a fourth low-stress week, which would give you a nice transition into the 12-week strength.
