19 weeks out from a meet

Hi coaches,

I’m planning on entering a powerlifting meet on June 25th, which is 19 weeks from now. I thought I would run Powerbuilding 3 to prepare for the meet. Right now I’m finishing the last week of the third block of the bodybuilding template. So if I do Powerbuilding 3, which lasts for 14 weeks, that leaves me with 5 extra training weeks before the meet. What do you think would be my best option? Should I run the first 5 weeks of PB 3 and then start again at week 1? Alternatively I thought I might re-do the first 5 weeks of the first block of the bodybuilding template, which I’ve been enjoying, and then jump into Powerbuilding 3.

I’d probably do PB III as you described…that would work well. Let us know how it goes?
