Barbell Row Help

Hello all wonderful Barbell Medicine folks,

I’m a 19 year old college guy with a rather large belly at 273.
I’m doing the Deadlift part of the bridge and when doing the barbell rows for the first time today, I couldn’t get my back to flatten out because of my large belly. I was following Alan Thrall’s how to row guide. My question is, is there any way I can flatten my back when doing barbell rows or should I switch to a different excerices, and if so, what exercise? My back is severely arched when I do the rows btw, and I can’t attack any pictures or record the lift because my gym doesn’t allow recording anymore.

You can do rows off of an elevated surface if that works for you.
