So i finished the Bridge v3.0 and i am planning to run the 12 week strength template.My gpps on the bridge (last week) where :
1st GPP:
5 set of 12 pull ups
5 set of 12 cheen ups
Arm work 5 sets of 12-15
Abs for 8 minutes and liss for 30 minutes
2nd GPP:
5 sets of 12 lat pull down
5 sets of 12 lat pull down with an other hand positioning
5 sets of 12 row machine
Arm work 5 sets of 12-15
Abs
Hiit for 20 minutes
Should I continue to have 2 gpp days even if the template have one?Also,should I increase one set for every exercise every 2-3 weeks?
I would keep two GPP sessions. I’d take your sets back to the prescribed sets on 12 week strength (2 or 3 I don’t recall) and work up based on the prescription. I’d keep the LISS and HIIT conditioning as is. If you can easily figure out different movements I’d do them for a week or two maybe neutral grip pull ups AMRAP for 8 mins, a different curl/ tricep exercise; which may slightly help improve your response as your transition your GPP to the 12 week strength template.
I don’t think any choices here will produce dramatically different results so there’s no wrong answer (but getting to 10 sets of GPP exercises is probably going to be robbing you of recovery resources).
