Incorporating accessory exercises to the Bridge 1.0

Hi Dr. Feigenbaum and thanks for answering our questions.

I’d like to do some facepulls, lateral deltoid raises,calf raises, barbell curls etc. while running the Bridge 1.0 for “aesthethics”. The e-book says "you can do the curls on GPP days for 7 mins. Can I do the same with other exercises I named here? What exercises would you recommend and which ones you would not?

Thanks for the post and questions here.

I don’t think I would have you do any of these at this stage of your training right now. I think you should stick to the base program (or beginner template) as previously advised and you can add in more accessory work later on in a different training program.

Not really, no, but rather I don’t think they’ll be beneficial for you at this point.
