Low back pain and stiffness

Hello, recently I have been experiencing a lot of low back issues, especially after Squats. During the session my back would mostly feel ok but later during the day it would get really stiff and painful. The pain was never anything terrible so I didn’t make a big deal out of it and it would pass on it’s own. Last week I started feeling a tingling sensation in my foot and around my calf so I lowered the weight on all the lifts and proceeded with my training. The tingling continued and low back pain was present but mild, I did Deadlifts on friday which felt great and after which I decided to do some light squats and after loading like 40 kg’s I experienced a sharp pain in my low back and some stiffness. I tried Squats again the other day and the same thing happened.

I usually squat High bar, I tried front squats but they also produced the same problem, I haven’t tried Low bar yet but I am a bit reluctant to do squats at all. So my question is should I keep pushing it like this or just give it a rest from squats and even Deadlifts and find some other means of training ? I am a bit spooked by all this I must admit, hence the post here. I am worried that I don’t exacerbate the problem further.

Thank you.
