Need help with picking a template.

Hi again BBM team,

I’m currently running the bridge 1.0 and Monday will be the start of week 7. I’ve been looking at potential templates to try afterward and I can’t decide between Strength 1 and 12-week strength.

  1. What is the biggest difference between the two?
  2. Are they both intended to deliver similar results? I’m in a situation where I can dedicate a lot of time and energy to training so I want to make use of this opportunity.
  3. Does one favor benching more than the other? The bench press seems to be a lagging lift for me and I don’t really want to squat 4 plates before I bench 2. lol.

  1. Strength I is 3 days a week and 12WS is 4 days per week. The programming is similar, though there’s a much more aggressive taper in 12WS.
  2. Strength in the big 3 is the primary goal and is similar between the two.
  3. Strength I favors the bench a little bit more than 12WS initially, but they’re pretty similar.
