so I’ve had enough with the Novice LP and im going into hypertrophy training. I like the Bridge 1.0 but there are too many new variables to get used to all at once. So I basically beefed up my novice LP as follows:
clean
squat
press
deadlift
all movements 5x5 @ 7-8.5 RPE (75% 1RM)…*RPE increases as sets go on
I realize it’s not very novel but it’s easy enough for me to follow for now, @ 2-3 times a week.
Does this plan seem somewhat reasonable?
Not really.
You may want to look into the GPP hypertrophy template, and listen to the programming podcasts again.

Isn’t that essentially Stronglifts, minus the A-B weeks, which is also a novice LP?
no idea. I just tried to increase volume @ the right RPE with the basic lifts. I’ve listened to all of the podcasts and this is sort of a short term trial plan to try out for three weeks till I go on vacation. I know it’s not the best, just wondering if it looks totally ridiculous
