Powerbuilding II 3 Day non comp

Some background: had a baby at the end of November. Been lifting on and off for 6 years, long time cyclist, at times ultra cyclist.

I’m about halfway through Powerbuilding II, 4 day. So far I’ve been loving it and making steady progress, but it has been quite time consuming with an infant at home. I have straight up not been doing the cardio (except for walks with the baby) because of this. I was thinking about dropping day 4 (usually a push/pull accessories day, or whatever you might call it) so I can increase my time budget for mountain biking/cycling as things warm up. Is this the most effective way to modify the program?

Thanks!

I’d be totally fine with that. There are no sacred cows in programming for general strength and conditioning. Sounds like you have a good plan in place. You may also/alternatively consider some exposure to higher intensity conditioning sessions to make up for the lack of volume given your time constraints.
