Programming for general strength (no meet)

Sorrry if this has been posted already. I understand BBM has powerlifting program but from my understanding they have one general strength program. So my question is if I’m not interested in peaking for a meet how would I continue to self program after General strength program? It seems In your templates we do a block with more volume increasing weekly then a pivot to a more intensity block. Now after that I’m stuck wondering would I just repeat the same blocks indefinitely (volume, pivot, intensity). Or would I be “forced” to move into a actual powerlifting template with a meet? Thank!

I think you’re asking if your programming should be periodized over time, right? In that case, yes…I think that’s a good idea.

That said, you don’t have to do a “powerlifting template with a meet” during lower volume, high intensity blocks. It’s just a change in the training stimulus.
