Squat percentages

Hi I’ve been doing templates for some years now, and just bought Strength III but I got a bit confused here, maybe I don’t understand percentages as well as I thought:


So If my 1RM is 200kg then I should do 1 rep of 154kg followed by 4 reps of also 154kg? cause it’s the 77% of 200, or it should be 77% of a 4 reps max? or is there an error there?

It kinda broke my brain doing one rep followed by 4 reps of the same weight lol

Yea, or around there. %'s are always based on 1RM or, better, e1RM from very recent training sessions.

Seems there’s a typo in the percentage of the single. 1@7 is more like 87-89% of 1RM.

I missed that, but you’re right. Good point.

1 @ 7 should be ~ 87-89% of 1RM, not 77%. I’ll have to find that typo. Sorry for any confusion.
