Starting 7 Week Hypertrophy After 12 Week Strenth

Hi BBM Gang and others,
I just finished the 12 week strength template yesterday (Friday) and I will start the 7 week hypertrophy program this coming Monday.
My questions are as follows:

  1. Should there be a low stress week (deload week) prior to starting the hypertrophy program or should I go straight into it?
  2. Should I use my actual tested 1RM numbers from the test week as a starting point for the Comp Squat/Bench/DL numbers in the hypertrophy template? Or should I reduce the 1RM numbers a bit for the hypertrophy template I realize these two questions above may be subjective and based on each individual but I was just curious if there was a general best practice for transitioning from the strength to hypertrophy week.

I don’t think you need a deload week and I think you should use your actual 1RM numbers.
