Strength 3 V2 Template - errors

Hi guys, is it just me, or does something seem off here? I’m coming from the first generation of Strength 3 and a few other programs, so the rep scheme feels potentially incorrect. I’ve found errors in it before, so now I’m honestly a bit paranoid about the template in general, lol.

It’s possible that I just don’t understand the new template’s approach, but if that’s not the case, please confirm. Thanks!

Can you clarify what seems off here?

To me that looks like you work up to a top single at RPE 8 followed by a set of 4 reps at RPE 7 then stay with that weight (the 4@7) for a total of 10 reps broken up into sets that allow you to perform the set at no greater than an effort of RPE 7 (so the 10 reps could look something like: 100 x 3@7, 100 x 3@7, 100 x 2@7 100 x 2@7).. with rests of at least 3 minutes between each set or however long enables you to hit the prescribed effort levels? I could be wrong though.

Howdy!

This programming is uses RPE caps on back off sets to help manage fatigue. To do this, you’d hit your top set - in this case, 4 @ 7 - and then use that weight to complete another 10 total reps. The trick is, no set can be > RPE 7. So, it might look like 4, 4, 2, or 3-3-3-1, or 3-2-2-2-1, or any permutation of that.

As always, we try to fix any errors that people find ASAP. I try my best to identify them before the programs go out, but it is possible I miss somethings.
