If faced with the following two options:
I would train 3 days in a row without modification.
What if the third option was to have a rest day in between and miss one session for the week? Just curious. How much of a value are rest days is what I’m getting at.
This is a question I have asked myself many times when faced with similar life circumstances. I have always erred on the side of not wanting to over train the muscles and inhibit adaptation. Guess I was wrong. You may want to discuss this on a future episode of the podcast. I am sure many of us have the same question.
In this context I would prefer to train the 3rd day.
