I’m 14 weeks into nlp. 163lbs,male, 49yrs old. Squatting 5rep2nd set of 205. I felt a sharp pain in my ribs on the way back up. I assume I braced weird/wrong. 4 days later it still hurts when I take a deep breath or sit up. If it is a cracked rib or strained intercostal muscle, am I doing any further damage by continuing to train (beltless)?
It’s very unlikely to be a cracked rib, to be honest, but I can’t give you direct medical advice on this sort of situation.
If it were me, I’d continue training.
