For pause and tempo squats, during the warm-up sets, do I use pause and tempo squats, or normal squats?
I’m guessing the answer is use pause and tempo squat for warm-up sets. This way I can gauge RPE better vs using normal squat.

You are correct, it is generally best to work up with the movement variation that you are actually training at that time.
