GPP in 12 Wk Strength program

Couldn’t find this answer in search, so apologies if I missed it. On the 12 Wk strength template, there is 1x then later 2x/wk GPP. Assuming the lifting days are M,T,R,F as suggested, what would be the ideal day for GPP when 1x and which additional day when 2x? How crucial do you think this is for someone who is already fairly conditioned (was running 2-3 miles a day, 5 days a week coming into this), especially during the development block of the program?

It doesn’t matter when you do them. I would continue some sort of GPP, but would not recommend running 2-3 miles per day on top of strength program like the 12 week strength program. 2 disparate goals.
