Speed skating

Hi I am coming to the end of the bridge 1 and I’m wondering if you have any experience with programming for speed skaters?
Is there a program you would recommend? Leg strength is my primary goal followed by back and core.

I have not ever worked with a speed skater directly, no. That said, General S/C would be the recommended template here.

While this pandemic is happening I was wanting to build alot of leg size and strength. Would I be best running hypertrophy then strength and just keep cycling them both until I get near to competition then switch to general S/C? I know alot of your program description centers around the the big three, is there anything that specifically targets the legs and also focuses on some one legged work like split squats. Just for information the speed skating I’m doing would best be compared to a 400m sprint in time worked rather then a marathon but with more power required for pushing then a sprint. Most Olympic level speed skaters have a 2.5x body weight squat. And incase it has a difference I am a 28 year old male. Apologies for the overload of information I just would like to get on the right path.

I would just do the General S/C template. There’s unilateral work in there too.
