Training suggestions

Hi Jordan,

I currently am running Strength 1 gen 2 and have been enjoying it. Squats and deadlifts have improved by an eRM of around 10 kg and bench not as much but I am still hitting personal bests as RPE 8 singles. I have been dropping weight during this program as well at a .5% of bodyweight rate.

I would like some guidance on what to do next. I could run the template again but I have some desire to increase my cardiovascular fitness while continuing to gain some strength during my cut. Of course I could run it again but Hypertrophy 1( been suggested for off season powerlifters) and GS&C 1 both run with more conditioning volume( or maybe PB1?). Or I could move on to strength 2 with its only slightly higher conditioning volume but more lifting volume. Thank you for your help

I really like General Strength and Conditioning 1 in this context, as you’re just coming off a maximal strength focused block, you still want to get stronger, but conditioning and weight management are also priorities.

The blend of strength work without specialization fits this bill IMO.
