Where to next?

Hi fellas.

Really appreciate everything you guys do. I feel like I learn more and more every article/video I read/watch.

I’m currently running the Stronglifts 5x5 program (I know it’s not the best but in a roundabout way it has lead me to you guys). I’m 2 months in and really struggling to add more and more weight each workout.

I’m also trying to lose body fat and waist size through caloric deficiency.

I guess what I was wondering was which Template would be a great one to move onto? I don’t really care too much about how strong I am in terms of lifting numbers so I was considering running the Hypertrophy I template. Wasn’t sure if this would be a great idea due to the fact I’m in a calorie deficit and therefore can’t really grow much muscle?

Would I be better off looking at a programme like The Bridge and running that until I’m happy with by bodyfat/waist size and than moving onto the Hypertrophy template in a calorie surplus?

I’d probably run our Beginner Template first and then go to powerbuilding or something like that.

So would it be best to hold off from the Hypertrophy template until I’m eating at a calorie surplus, or it wouldn’t really matter?

I just think the powerbuilding template may be a better fit directly after the beginner template, but you could swing the hypertrophy template too.
